Transparent Responsible Disclosures
Building Trust. Ensuring Transparency. Empowering Every Nigerian.
About TRD in the RECORs Ecosystem
The Transparent Responsible Disclosures (TRD) standard is the cornerstone of the RECORs and RBi Index Ecosystem. It establishes the highest level of openness, accountability, and shared trust across all operations — from escrow management to broker certification, property listing, and income earner representation.
Nigeria’s RECORs Ecosystem Structure
The Nigerian model of the RECORs ecosystem is a public-compliance-centered structure, designed to remain functional, inclusive, and transparent. The structure includes ERET Nigeria, PCP, NIESV, REDAN, SEC, and a public representation system.
Escrow Release Philosophy and Methodology
The RECORs Escrow Account represents the collective trust of Nigerian income earners. Its release methodology is governed by TRD-aligned multi-signatory oversight, ensuring that no single entity can control or divert escrowed funds without due process.
Ongoing Developments
- Abuja First: Positioning Abuja as the flagship city for RECORs and RBi Index adoption.
- Lagos Plus: Expanding RECORs access, broker training, and escrow-backed RBi Index transactions.
- Global Drive: Promoting RBi Index trading to Nigerians in the diaspora and international partners.
Commitment to the Nigerian Public
- Transparent governance
- Secure escrow management
- Verified property backing
- Inclusive public participation
- Adherence to TRD standards
Nigeria PCP Transition & Treasury Flow Framework
Treasury Allocation
Instead of 0.25%, the 1.0% allocation goes directly to the Host Country’s Treasury as a public revenue contribution. This remittance is irrevocable, separate from taxes, and stands as a national benefit for wellbeing initiatives (food, health, knowledge, people of determination, vulnerable groups).
Outgoing PCP Position
The outgoing PCP of Nigeria retains 24% stake allocation. This acknowledges contributions, ensures fairness, and leaves enough space for future alignment.
